Metro MET869Z Black / Ivory Area Rug

A high-contrast grid of interlocking checkerboard blocks and carved striped windows, bold and unapologetically graphic. The deep charcoal black and soft ivory create a sharp, high-contrast dynamic where the dark tone firmly defines the pattern. Hand-Tufted in India: Tufted by hand from pure wool, sculpted with dimensional carving that cleanly delineates the geometric registers. Medium Pile: The 3/8-inch wool pile provides substantial cushion underfoot while maintaining clear definition along every structural edge. Natural wool fibers naturally gain richness over time. Geometric Grid Pattern: Repeating rectangular modules combine offset checkerboard framing with dense vertical bar insets. The architectural layout channels mid-century optical design with clean modern structure. Black and Ivory Palette: A deep charcoal black paired with an unbleached ivory ground, giving crisp graphic impact without harshness. The high-contrast palette anchors open living spaces. Room Fit: A commanding anchor for modern living rooms, open lofts, and creative office spaces. Centering beneath floating sectional arrangements or framing a clean-lined dining table establishes clear architectural zones. Rug Pad Recommended: Adds essential grip on smooth hard floors, softens steps, and protects the back of the rug from surface friction.
