Metro MET709L Light Blue / Grey Area Rug

A stepped diamond medallion and vine border translate classical Persian geometry into a tailored transitional centerpiece. Crisp white motifs contrast against a neutral light grey and light blue ground. Hand-Tufted in India: Tufted by hand from pure wool yarns, carving fine depth along the borders and central medallion. Low Pile: The 3/8-inch wool pile provides substantial cushion underfoot. Natural wool retains its structure and deepens in luster over years of use. Transitional Medallion Pattern: A concentric stepped diamond medallion anchors the open field, framed by stylized palmettes and a running floral border. The balanced architecture bridges classic Persian layouts with modern graphic clarity. Slate and Charcoal Palette: Steely slate blue and dark charcoal grounds support warm off-white botanical accents and soft grey framing yarns. The grounded tonal contrast anchors expansive rooms without overwhelming adjacent furnishings. Room Fit: Brings structured presence to formal living rooms, primary sitting areas, and dining spaces. Centering beneath floating seating arrangements lets the stepped perimeter frame the furniture. Rug Pad Recommended: Prevents shifting on hard flooring surfaces, protects the backing from friction, and preserves pile recovery.
